Severe & Extreme Weather Policy | Britannia Soccer Park

Severe weather refers to any dangerous meteorological phenomena with the potential to cause damage, severe social disruption, or loss of human life.
Extreme weather is any weather that includes unpredicted, unusual, severe or unseasonal weather.
This includes thunderstorms, hail, heavy rain, flooding, tornado, hurricane, and so forth.

Britannia Soccer Park will monitor conditions before sessions/Rentals/League Games are scheduled to start and if they deem conditions to be unplayable, will cancel and reschedule the session if possible.

If severe or extreme weather occurs during sessions/Rentals/League Games, Britannia Soccer Park will assess the situation. If 50% of the session has already been completed, Britannia will class the sessions/Rentals/League Games as completed, anything less will be rearranged.

If Thunder and Lightning are seen near the field, Britannia has a 30-minute policy whereby we will not return to the ground unless the thunder and lightning have clear in less than 30 minutes. If the Thunder and Lightning fails to clear in that time, we will cancel the sessions/Rentals/League Games.
